Provocation

What has to remain unfinished for the archive to stay honest in Lagos?

Make the final edit list: publish, hold back, verify, return, ask, delete, and explain why.

Route scaffolds: images and sound seeds↓

These are route scaffolds, not confirmed stops. Each point holds a Wikimedia image slot, a Freesound query and a blog prompt so the road can replace the estimate with lived material.

Fragments become public presentation material

Lagos is the official end and the only confirmed arrival, reached via Badagry after the Seme crossing. It is a lagoon megacity of density, creativity and pressure. Arrival here should trouble the idea of closure.

What success looks like

A careful arrival refuses to clean the road into one heroic story. The public artefact shows gaps, corrections, consent choices and the collective labour behind the archive.

For whom?

Who should recognise the road in the work without being exposed or used?

By whom?

Name one fragment that must not become public until it is checked, returned or removed.

“Arrival is an edit, not an ending.”
Counter-Atlas note
“The living archive should show how it was made.”
